Catarina G. Garcia is a Portuguese multidisciplinary artist living and working in Amsterdam. Her work focuses on cultural heritage, identity, and care using a variety of mediums, demonstrating a sensitive and intuitive approach to materials. She explores the essential elements of culture-making, often drawing from traditions of storytelling, food, and craftsmanship. Her works are often open-ended, inviting the viewer to participate in unveiling their understanding and relation to it.


Garcia Du Pan is an artist duo consisting of Catarina G. Garcia and Jim Du Pan as the two halves. Through this collaboration, they develop site-specific installations reflecting on how people interact with their environment.


Catarina is interested in various aspects of visual and conceptual art and uses different pseudonyms to embody various expressions. She is known as Catarina Garcia when working collaboratively on conceptual projects and as Catarina Rabanada for her visual arts expression.
